Come and join us for GirlCanCreate’s newest offering to Hamilton! Inspired by her love for Hamilton along with her work as a professional storyteller, Lisa Pijuan-Nomura has created a happening for people to come hear tall tales, share stories and have their voices heard.

Together with The Staircase Theatre, we invite you to Speak! Storytelling at the Staircase.

The monthly event will feature a professional teller that will tell a longer tale at the beginning of the evening.

Hosted by Lisa Pijuan-Nomura, she will share hilarious tales of being a professional storyteller, her daily observations and life stories.

The second half of the event will feature a Story Jam where up to 7 audience members can sign up to tell there own stories.

The Story Jam has a few rules to follow. Each story can be no longer than 5 minutes. The stories must be true. And they can not be read they must be told.

So come out and celebrate the stories of our lives!

Please spread the word far and wide and share with friends and family who might be interested!

The best part? The show is entirely built off of audience suggestions so you’ll be shaping the show as you enjoy it. Woah!
See you there!
