R & D Productions is proud to present its third production, returning to the works of local Toronto writer, Hannah Moscovitch with two plays for the price of one: The Russian Play, followed by Mexico City.

The Russian Play
Directed by: Robert K Brown
Starring: Krista McNaughton as Sonja, and James Thomas as Piotr and Kostya

Mexico City
Directed by: Ryan Trepanier
Starring: Kimberly Jonasson as Alice, and Steve O’Brien as Henry

Two very different takes on a love story, The Russian Play and Mexico City are both examinations of how we find love, and what we do with that realization. While the Russian Play is dark and sometimes tragic, Mexico City has a lighter tone and offers a more optimistic outlook on life. Hannah Moscovitch weaves the context and the scenery of both these countries expertly into her play so much so that each country becomes a part of the story, and not just the backdrop for it.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or by emailing r.and.d.theatre@gmail.com.
Showtimes are as follows:
Thursday, December 5 @ 8pm
