Join us on December 17 in Hamilton for Christmas With… Liberty Silver.
Over the course of her career, Liberty Silver has performed as the opening act for Celine Dion, Joan Rivers, Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte and Natalie Cole among many others. She also appeared alongside Bryan Adams, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and other famous Canadian voices on the triple platinum selling charity single, Tears Are Not Enough.
In 1985, Silver became the first black woman to receive a Juno Award which helped to shape the R&B and soul music scene for an entire generation of black female singers within Canada. She took home two statuettes that year and has been nominated for a Juno, Canada’s version of the Grammy, a total of five times.
After a sell-out concert at Hamilton’s Staircase Theatre this past summer, Silver returns with a concert to celebrate the Holiday Season.
Tickets are $25 in advance through babygumm.com or $30 at the door.
